Wrapping Up Festival Season in Charleston

October 24, 2013

Charleston

Well, festival season has come to a close with the 2013 Southern Ground Music & Food Festival in Charleston. This time around, I brought along fellow chefs Claire Chapman, Kelly Liken, Craig Deihl, RJ Cooper to create delicious meals throughout the weekend for the stage boxes and the concessions in the food court. Doemens Beer Sommelier Gary Valentine was also on hand to provide beer suggestions to go along with any festival food. And I'll tell you what, a darn good time was had by all!

If you couldn't make it this year, watch the recap video, or visit the photo gallery here.

Wrap Up from the Southern Ground Music & Food Festival Nashville 2013

October 8, 2013

Nashville Recap

Gah! What a time we had at the Southern Ground Music & Food Festival in Nashville this year!

There was the last minute re-addition of Willie Nelson, Zac Brown Band's "Super Sets" by Jason Mraz, John Fogerty, Clare Bowen and let's not forget about the celebrity chefs who joined me in making some gourmet Southern grub including: Stephanie Izard, Giuseppe Tentori and Shon Foster. Nashville Scene even said, "...a heaping paper cone of Chef Rusty Hamlin's Jambalaya [was] a genius idea for street food." You can take that to print!

Check out all the photos from the event here, or watch this recap video, made by my friends at Southern Reel.
